The Mexican Grand Prix will take place at least until 2025, as an official extension of the contract beyond that date has not been confirmed. Antonio Pérez Garibay, father of 'Checo' Pérez, mentioned in a press conference that Claudia Sheinbaum had an agreement with Formula 1 until 2025, with the possibility of extending it until 2030 if she became president without the need for government investment. He highlighted the importance of Sheinbaum in the salvation of the Mexican Grand Prix.

The Mexican Grand Prix is one of the most outstanding events in Mexico City that adds to the cultural wealth of the capital. Although the contract with the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is about to expire, it is expected that Formula 1 races will continue in the coming years. The participation of recognized drivers such as Charles Leclerc, Franco Colapinto, Max Verstappen, and 'Checo' Pérez is anticipated, and their presence is highly awaited by local fans.

Currently, the extension of the Mexican Grand Prix beyond 2025 is being discussed. According to information from Fox Sports, a meeting of the CDMX Government has been suggested to discuss the continuity of Formula 1 races at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez. Although not officially confirmed, it has been speculated that the event could be extended for another three years, turning it into a renewed contract filled with excitement and a great atmosphere.

The Mexican Grand Prix stands out for being the most sustainable race on the Formula 1 calendar, implementing collection and separation operations for waste to reduce the carbon footprint. Luis Manuel López, a journalist from Fox Sports, revealed that unofficially, the contract would be extended for three more years, filled with Mexican traditions and a great festive atmosphere. The news of this possible extension was met with enthusiasm by fans, including 'Checo' Pérez, who called the race in Mexico the best in the world.
